Хоккеист Тэйлор Бек покидает клуб "Сибирь", сообщает генеральный менеджер.

Генеральный менеджер новосибирской "Сибири" Виктор Меркулов заявил, что канадский хоккеист Тэйлор Бек перейдет в европейский клуб, а его соотечественник Тревор Мерфи пока не ответил на предложение новосибирцев.

В минувшем сезоне Бек набрал 62 очка (19 шайб + 43 передачи) в 64 матчах за "Сибирь" в регулярном чемпионате Континентальной хоккейной лиги (КХЛ) и плей-офф.

Канадский форвард выступал в КХЛ с 2017 года. Мерфи с 58 (13+45) очками стал лучшим бомбардиром "Сибири" в регулярном чемпионате, в плей-офф защитник набрал 6 (2+4) очков.

"Что касается легионеров, мы точно понимаем, что Тэйлор Бек продолжит карьеру в другом европейском клубе. По другим легионерам - мы еще обсудим с главным тренером и поговорим о том, кого хотели бы видеть в следующем сезоне. Безусловно, хотели бы видеть на следующий год в команде Тревора Мерфи, предложение ему мы уже сделали и ждем его ответа", - цитирует Меркулова официальный сайт команды.

Генменеджер "Сибири" отметил, что капитан команды, олимпийский чемпион 2018 года и обладатель Кубка Гагарина 39-летний Сергей Широков, возможно, продолжит выступать за новосибирцев.

"Сергей Широков не планирует в ближайшее время завершать карьеру, вешать коньки на гвоздь. Ему очень понравился Новосибирск, ему очень понравилось здесь выступать. Мы с ним в диалоге, постараемся сохранить нашего капитана на следующий год", - сообщил Меркулов.
